Plumas National Forest is situated just south of the Cascade Range, and home to many streams and lakes, deep canyons, mountain valleys, meadows, and peaks.
For almost 150 years, this land has hosted popular hot springs resorts. The spring water here is as smooth as silk, and the pools, which are open 24 hours a day, are a true experience. Within the last several years, two of the springs have been beautifully redeveloped. Body acceptance is a key component of Sierra Hot Springs, therefore all pools are clothing optional. Sierra Hot Springs is a non-profit organization maintained and operated by a group of resident workers.
