Tamarack SNO-PARK, located on the south side of Highway 168 east of Shaver Lake, provides access for cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snowmobiling.

This site is used by local Native Americans as a ceremonial meeting place. The park features special events and tours. Gathering Day, held the third Saturday of October, includes demonstrations of dancing, crafts and basket weaving. There are picnic areas and interpretive exhibits at this historical and cultural site.
