Bear Valley Cross Country and Adventure Company is located at 7,100’ elevation in Bear Valley, California. Featuring one of the largest cross country ski areas in California with 35 trails for 65 kilometers of groomed track and skating lanes, rental and retail shop, lessons, trailside lunch café, sledding hills open daily and tubing hills open weekends/holidays (note: only rental sleds/tubes allowed) during the winter.
The Cross Country Center converts to the Bear Valley Adventure Company in the summer with bike rentals, sales and repair, flatwater kayak school and rentals, a variety of special events and races and is your connection to all of Bear Valley’s summer adventures. Featuring over 100 miles of USFS single track and trails for mountain biking, excellent, high mountain road biking, hiking, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and fishing on four nearby lakes during the summer. Located on Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass) which is a designated National Scenic Byway, and situated between the Mokelumne and Carson Iceberg Wilderness areas.
