  • Tahoe City Trailhead

    The Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT) heading northeast to Brockway Summit is a strenuous trail, with great views of the Truckee River Canyon and Lake Tahoe. The TRT south to Barker Pass provides views of Lake Tahoe, Granite Chief Wilderness, and seasonal wildflowers.

  • Vernal Fall

    The three mile, round trip hike offers beautiful views all along the way to one of yosemite Valley's iconic destinations - Vernal Fall.

  • Lake Winnemucca

    A moderate hike (approximately 2.5 miles from the Carson Pass trailhead) brings you to scenic Lake Winnemucca. We saw many families, dogs, and recreational fishermen on the day we hiked to the lake.
