The Carson-Iceberg Wilderness contains comparatively few lakes but many deep river canyons lush with riparian vegetation.
Vernal Fall is spectacular! Water flow is heaviest in late spring and early summer, but even in mid-September, the fall is well worth the steep, three mile round trip hike.
